Receiving news that your baby has a serious or lethal health problem can be devastating. The professionals at Atlanta Women’s Center recognize that you and your family may be overwhelmed and saddened by this unexpected information. If additional help and information are needed, Atlanta Women’s Center will provide support resources and counseling referrals for further assistance.
Atlanta Women’s Center has experience caring for patients who have a pregnancy diagnosed with anencephaly, Trisomy 13, 18, and 21, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, Klinefelter’s syndrome, dwarfism, oligohydramnios, Dandy Walker variant, and a range of other significant anomalies. If you are choosing to end your pregnancy on the basis of information provided by your doctor or genetic counselor, the goal of the Fetal Anomaly Program is to assist you during this difficult time.
